Bambi’s Daycare and Pre-Primary School caters for children from the age of 12 months through to 5 years (Grade 000/00). The school is situated close to all main routes nestled between Everton, Kloof, Hillcrest and Winston Park.

 

Bambi’s has a scenic view over a nature reserve, offering a tranquil fresh aired environment for little one’s. It is ideally suited for families living in the surrounding suburbs of Pinetown, Kloof, Gillitts, Winston Park, Hillcrest, Waterfall and Assagay in

KwaZulu-Natal.

Our History

Bambi’s was founded with the belief that you can have a school that projects an atmosphere of “ A Home Away From Home”. Learning and education go hand in hand, of which play is the most important. ‘Caring and Sharing is our motto. We began in 1996 with one classroom and a handful of children. Within two years Bambi’s grew to 3 classrooms in the Daycare with the support and love of our parent base. We grew with small age appropriate groups and each with a specialised teacher and nanny assistants. We have been running for 22 years in our community. In 2005 we broke ground again to build our Pre-Primary school which caters for our 4 and 5 year old children.

School Layout

The school is divided into four groups. The first is Groups 2 being the 1 year to 2 year olds. The second group, is Group 3 which caters for the 3 year olds, we then have Group 4 being the first Pre-Primary class that caters for the 4 year olds and lastly Group 5 that prepares the children for Grade R.

 

The Daycare and Pre-primary are separate from each other in order for the children to have age appropriate areas that allow for learning and play. Each class has a dedicated teacher who is supported by their own assistants, this provides an excellent teacher- child ratio.

Bambi’s has a wonderful large playground that is completely fenced, allowing the children the freedom to play on the swings, climbing frame, jungle gyms, cycle track and monkey bars .
